About
Long Story, Short...
I started playing hockey like most Canadian kids in the 70's, soon after I learned to walk, and played high level until I was 21 as an overaged Junior before taking a short break.
I continued playing "Beer" League and Senior AA Hockey until I was 30 at which time I chose to step away from the game to work long shifts away from home in Northern Alberta.

I didn't plan on taking more than maybe a couple of years off but it somehow turned into almost 24 years!
Long story, short, I got talked into coming out for some shinny with a company I was working for and let me tell you, it was humiliating while being amazing at the same time. After such a long time off skates, I literally had to think about each and every stride, it was embarrassing to be honest...
This was frustrating but I still had years of amazing coaching, training and experience hidden deep inside of me so I promised myself then and there that I was going to do everything I could to get back as much of my game back possible, so I went to work.
it's about two years since that day and the experience has been great, and from the push from people that have been there along the way I decided I want to help others that are trying to get into hockey, relearning the game or beginners that want to get to the next level.

So I hope to see you out on the ice, you've waited far too long already so let's get started!
